Job Description
Are you a Staff Nurse with a pre assessment experience?
Our client, one of the largest independent providers of acute surgical services in the UK is looking for a RGN with Pre-Assessment experience to be part of their dynamic team.
This is a full time - permanent post
Salary: �£25,000 - �£27,000 per annum
Based in Harrow, Middlesex
Some duties to include:
- To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained.
- To provide and safeguard the well being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
- To promote good practice, based on evidence, in the Outpatient setting.
- To follow best practice related to Pre assessment (N.I.C.E guidelines)
- To adhere to the guidelines laid down in The Hospital Pre- assessment Operational Manual
- To communicate and liaise with CCH consultant surgeons and anesthetists.
- To have an understanding of private medical insurance, and how it relates to this post
- To have an understanding of the HCC regulations.
Skills:
- ECG skills
- Phlebotomy skills
- Orthopedic experience desirable
- Wound Care skills
- Basic IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to liaise with departments, consultants and secretaries.
- Knowledge of current best practise guidelines related to pre-assessment (NICE)
- Knowledge of the NMC code of conduct and PREP
Qualifications:
- NMC Registered
- ENB998 or equivalent desirable
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years post-registration experience
- Experience in pre-assesment
- Orthopedic experience desirable
